Day Eighteen

DAY EIGHTEEN

MORNING VERSE:

“If we have died with him, we will also live with him.” (2 Timothy 2:11)

EVENING VERSE:

“...who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works.” (Titus 2:14)

MEDITATION

In the kingdom, death always leads to life. The farmer harvests his crops. In doing so, he kills the plant but gathers in food to bring life to his family and to others.  If you have died with him, you will also live with him. It is a big “if.” Do you live as though you are dead to sin, or do you keep trying to wrestle with that old man? Do you trust that his cross has dealt with your brokenness once or for all or do you feel the need to add to his work? Beloved, stop trying to add to Jesus’ work and receive it as if it is so. The righteous shall live by faith. To live with Christ is to live with righteousness, peace and joy. To live with Christ is to live with love, power and dominion. To live with Christ is your inheritance. By faith, let his resurrection life become your own.
